En Tafalla la gente vivía del campo, su familia trabajaba campos agrícolas a renta, aunque no les daba para mucho. En esa época se sembraba, sobre todo, trigo, cebada y remolacha. Conoció la trilla, a Félix le tocó trillar en una zona de Tafalla donde más tarde construyeron casas. Explica como trillaban y aventaban separando el grano de la paja.
