This book is a collection of important content of Donghaean-gut. It can be said to be the manual of shaman’s song for believers learning Gut on the east coast. In Jeongmurok, sophisticated expressions are used, and famous figures of ancient China are listed. In particular, in the case of shaman’s song, which makes a wish, when describing the content of God and the situation of advent, in time, it descends from the age of myths and legends to the age of humans and from ancient to modern. The space is similarly narrowed down to the present position of performing Gut in the ancient mythical space.Shaman’s song contains Buddhist scriptures and Buddhist thoughts. In the composition of shaman’s song, the fleetingness of life or the sadness of parting was borrowed from a poem. In addition, in areas with strong playfulness, folk songs that people can easily access and understand were used as intercalation songs. Contrary to the aforementioned expressions of Buddhist scriptures and learned literacy classes, a dual view of language is projected into the manuscript. That is, in shaman’s song, the part that maintains the solemnity of the ritual and the part for the purpose of play were fused. In the book recording shaman’s song, repetition of words or sentences, comments, official units of expression, and borrowing of existing songs are used, and it can be seen that it is similar to the dramatic form of the neighboring genre Pansori.folk songs.lyrics. This method emphasizes the situation of the scene and creates a rhythmic feeling by repeating words, phrases, sentences, and official expression units. In other words, the lyrics are accurately delivered through repetition, listing, and comment, and rhyme is raised.
