One of our main aims is to collect, disseminate and study the gems of oral and immaterial patrimony of the places of Navarre and Lower Navarre: its traditional poetry, its ethnology, its stories and its customs.
The intergenerational and multicultural character of the Archive constitutes this multimedia fund an authentic polyphony of voices, cultures and languages.
In addition to these above mentioned traditional genres, other urban folklore manifestations are included, very often evolutions and adaptations of the traditional forms. You may find in this fund sound, audiovisual, textual and photographic testimonies (from our field investigations and from the digitalization of others). Priority has be given to the a user friendly presentation of the ethnoanthropological materials that will encourage its diffusion; although we have also accomplished its scientific study and critical edition.
