"Contrafacta"
The "contrafacta" are compositions generally of prodic style, where the lyrics is adapted to a traditional poem, specially songs. It a well-known phenomenon of oral tradition, in its parodic, subversive and anticlerical aspect from remote times. In the so called "urban folklore", it has irrupted with great creative force. The songs of contrafacta are sometimes used, as we have seen, in public mass performances.
