Resumen:

Narración de las vivencias de los Puerta, una familia arrantzale (pescadora) descendiente de los Galdós, un apellido arraigado en el Muelle donostiarra durante siglos. Desde los primeros recuerdos de Javier, un niño curtido en la mar por su aitona Natalio tras la guerra civil española, hasta el retiro de su hijo Jesus, que patroneó el Ozentziyo, el último bonitero de madera de Gipuzkoa que todavía sigue a flote. Ochenta años de vida en la mar que reflejan los sinsabores y las alegrías de una dura forma de vida ligada a la pesca artesanal, que aún perdura en nuestros días.

This article tells the story of the Puertas, a fish ing family descended from the Galdós, a surname whose ties with the port of San Sebastian date back centuries. It ranges from the first memories of Javier, who was introduced to life at sea by his grandfather Natalio during the period after the Spanish civil war, to the retirement of his son Jesus, who skippered the Ozentziyo, the last wooden tuna vessel in Gipuzkoa still afloat. Eighty years of life at sea that reflect all the joy and heartache of the to ugh life of artisan fishing, still practised to this day.
