Olympic Winter Games medals have their unique appreciating and collecting value, and they are one of the most important components of Olympic Winter culture. This study adopted literature review and comparative analysis, taking the previous Olympic Winter medals as targets, and interpreted the design concept of 21st Olympic Winter medal from the perspective of shapes, types, colors and texture. It also provided theoretical reference for the design regulation of the Olympic Winter medals. It drew the conclusion that the 21st Olympic Winter medal not only meets the esthetic needs, enriches the esthetic appreciation and experience and develops the esthetic value, but also conveys the information. It is the perfect transmission of intangible cultural heritage.
