English translation of culture-specific items in intangible cultural heritage literature is an important manifestation of national local characteristics. This paper focuses on the characteristics of culture-specific items of ethnic groups, explores the translation principles, and introduces several effective and flexible translation strategies through examples in order to realize the cross-cultural communication of intangible cultural heritage literature.
