This study aims to discuss visitor satisfaction and structure of expenditure in 2004 Gangneung International Folklore Festival. This festival is to promote internationalization of culture and publicity for Gangneung Danoje Festival, which was selected Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, 2005. Respondents answer positive response in about 90% level with satisfaction by amenity, theme, locality, participation and parking aspects. But visitor satisfaction of festival services indicates about 85%, that of price is 70% level. And the structure of expenditure consists of entertainment cost, accommodation cost, transportation cost, necessaries cost, food and beverage cost in order. The direct economic effects attain to 20.4 billion Korea won in the criterion of entrance number. These results is similar to many articles for the festival research, this folklore festival originated with regional tradition and historical features over a thousand year.
