Teresa empezó la escuela a los seis años, recuerda a la señorita Daniela porque tenía muy buena relación con ella. En la escuela estudiaban separados de los chicos. Con ocho años pasaron a las monjas, era una enseñanza más seria, además le tocaron unas monjas que le dieron mucha educación. Teresa estudió hasta cuarto de bachiller.
