Había muchas tabernas. Daban vino tinto, nada más. Iban los hombres a última hora del día, y bebían bastante. Se acuerda del enterrador Juan Miguel Goikoetxea: fue a la taberna con una caja y le preguntó el tabernero a ver que tenía dentro. “Barberon umia” fue la respuesta (había asistido a un aborto y de ahí a la taberna).
