Hasta comulgar los niños no se sentaban en la mesa grande. La madre y la abuela tampoco se sentaban en la mesa hasta que no acababan de comer los hombres. No era cuestión de machismo, más bien de reparto de papeles, ya que la mujer era muy respetada y era la que mandaba en casa.
