En Milagro había varias familias que se dedicaban a hacer cañizos, en esa época las casas se hacían con cañas. También había gente que usaba adobes de paja en vez de ladrillos. Su padre una vez hizo adobes, aunque pasaron las ovejas y le pisaron todos los adobes.
