En Tirapu había Junta de Oncena y Junta de Quincena siempre según el número de gente que asistía. Tenía que ir uno de cada casa y se iban turnando, podía ser cualquiera del pueblo independientemente del nivel económico. Nicanor estuvo en muchas juntas, recuerda que se votaba a mano y que se gestionaban todas las cosas relacionadas con el pueblo.
