El día de la Candelaria se bendecían la vela que se utilizaba para velar al Santísimo (Semana Santa) y el resto se guardaba para los días de tormenta. En San Blas se llevaba un cestillo con comida y un pan para bendecir. Aquel pan se guardaba todo el año y no se canuce.
