El primer día de trabajo se pusieron en huelga. Se quedaron 4 personas encerradas dentro de la mina. En noviembre hubo otra huelga, permanecieron 3 meses de huelga. Se exigían subidas de sueldo entre otras cosas. Cuenta que en Puertollano no se movilizaban porque no había política. En Potasas, en cambio, la gente se movía más.
