Había una carnicería municipal, situada donde hoy en día están los jubilados. En la parte de atrás del ayuntamiento estaba el matadero y en fiestas mataban una vaca allá. Todo el mundo quería ver como mataban la vaca. Era un acontecimiento importante en el pueblo porque durante el año no se mataba ninguna.
