No había lotes de leña, todos los vecinos cogían leña de las tierras comunales. Tenían derecho también para espartar, sacar piedra, yeso y cal, después las canteras las subastaba el ayuntamiento. Explica que la catedral de Vitoria se hizo con la piedra obtenida en Pitillas.
