Los carnavales se celebraron antes de la Guerra, durante la República. Ángel recuerda que vio a una chica, Gloria, vestida con pantalones bombachos, y le extrañó mucho. Duraban tres días y cuando llegó Franco al poder los prohibió. De más mozos iban a Vitora por carnavales en la Estellesa.
